Registration and Orientation

for all members is on September 11, 2010

at Carnegie Melon University's College of Fine Arts Great Hallway, 12:30 P.M.

Carnegie Mellon University is located on 5000 Forbes Avenue, PA 15213 in Oakland. Take Forbes Avenue through Oakland, pass the Cathedral of Learning, pass Morewood Avenue and Beeler Street. Turn right at the next light onto Margaret Morrison St. Go two blocks. Pass the white-pillared building, and see the gated parking lot in front. Turn and park on Tech Street to left. Walk through gated parking lot. The College of Fine Arts is the last building on your left.

 

If no parking spaces are available on Margaret Morrison Street, turn onto Tech Street, go to the top of the hill and turn right onto Frew Street. Drive about 200 yards. Metered parking is available. Take the walkway between the Hunt Library and the small park/garden across from the parking meters. The Fine Arts Building is the one on your right with sculpture alcoves.

Symphonette – 1:00 - 3:30 p.m., at Margaret Morrison, Room 119
Young Peoples Orchestra (YPO) – 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.,
            at Alumni Concert Hall (ACH), College of Fine Arts Building (CFA)

SECTIONALS: YPO as noted 1:00 - 2:15 p.m.
            Symphonette as noted 1:00 - 2:15 p.m.

CHAMBER MUSIC: For YPO only – Eight rehearsals – dates and times to be updated

****TRYPO's Media Streaming Center! ****

Purchases of music download available for concerts performed. 

Seasons start from December, 2006

TRYPO is pleased to announce its new Media Streaming Center where you can access all of our concerts since December, 2006.  To get to the Media Center , go online to: http://media.trypo.org.  After you reach the home-page, simply click “Register.”  There you will be able to create a login name and password and choose the TRYPO seasons you would like to access.  You will then receive a confirmation email, letting you know we received your information.  Then you need to send the office a payment of $25 for each season.  This will allow you to access the concerts you choose as many times as you like!  You can either stream or download the music and burn your own CD’s.

 (Each season purchase includes both Winter Concert and Spring Concert of TRYPO's season)

QuickTime Media Player is required for the streaming audio, but it is not needed for downloading the files for your mp3 player. You can easily download QuickTime for Mac or PC for free from: http://www.apple.com/quicktime.

When we receive your payment, you will receive a second email providing the confirmation codes for your selected seasons.  Each season will have a different code.  You will then need to return to the registration page of the Media Center where you will see a link that says “For confirmation, click here.”  After you login and enter your confirmation codes, you will be able to access all the TRYPO music you want!  The Media Center will provide access to all of TRYPO’s concerts for current members and alumni to share with their family and friends.  Please feel free to call (412-391-0526) or email (staff@trypo.org) the office with any questions.
